Custodian Job Summary:

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM

The Evening Custodian ensures the school is thoroughly cleaned and secured after student dismissal. This role is vital for preparing the building for the next school day and maintaining sanitation throughout the facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum all classrooms, hallways, and offices

  • Clean and disinfect restrooms thoroughly

  • Empty all trash and recycling bins

  • Dust and wipe down surfaces in classrooms and common areas

  • Monitor for maintenance needs and report them

  • Perform deep cleaning as needed (floors, carpets, windows)

  • Secure the building at end-of-day (lock doors, turn off lights/equipment)
