The Junior High Eagles football lost in a close one against the Jasper Eagles. Clayten O’hara was a key player who scored two times, once through the air to Levi Cooper and one on a quarterback sneak. Trey Davis also converted a 2 point conversion.
Coach Abromovitz said, “O’hara did a good job controlling the game, at the line of scrimmage and at times the line blocked well.” He also said, “We do need to work on firing off the ball and attacking holes using agility and quick feet to get through.”
O’hara noted that they need to work on discipline as they had a lot of penalties; but the running backs did a good job, and they were in a good position to win the game.
