The Junior High Boys team hosted the Liberal Bulldogs on Monday, January 29th. The Eagles played a good 1st quarter, however, the Bulldogs held them to only 4 points in the second. At halftime, the score was 13-12 in Liberals favor. In the third quarter, Liberal made their lead by one more, as the score was 22-20. The fourth quarter held the best parts of the game. The Eagles took the lead with about 2 minutes left. Then, with 3 seconds on the clock Liberal tied it at 30. With 3 seconds left Trey Davis passed the ball to his brother Tory to the other in of the court. It bounced off his hands into the arms of Zane Clayton, from past the three point line he shot it as it bounced off the backboard, went right in. Eagles win 33-30.
The Eagles moved to 3-3 on the season. Their next game is against Lockwood on Thursday, February 1st.
