The Pierce City Varsity Volleyball girls took on Purdy, on August 30. They lost the first match to Purdy at 21-25. They won the second and third matches at 25-18 and 25-21.
Stats:
-Jerika Brown had 8 assists and 2 jump kills.
-Leslie Jones had 3 blocks, 2 aces, 8 kills, and 8 serves in a row.
-Bella Kamplain had 2 kills.
-Riley Gripka had 2 kills and 2 aces.
-Donielle Brottlund had 2 aces, 3 kills, and 1 block.
Coach Pry said this about the game, “The girls came out on fire from the get go. The blocking, hits, and passes were amazing. Madelyn Jones had very good passes for varsity. Leslie and Donielle did stellar in the back row. The were passing very well and they played phenomenal overall.”
